2024 Meadow Station Annual Community Clean-Up (1)

The 2024 Meadow Station Annual Clean-up starts on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 (A GREAT annual event):

• Dumpsters are provided, Saturday, June 8th, 2024, and Sunday, June 9th, 2024, for Meadow Station Homeowners to dispose of household items that are too large for regular trash service. At least one of the dumpsters will be reserved for shrubs - tree limbs - organic materials.  A separate trailer is also provided, courtesy of Don Smith, for recyclable metals including bicycles, metal appliances, scrap metal - copper - aluminum, etc. Please do not over-fill the dumpsters. The trash company cannot haul dumpsters filled beyond the top edge. In some past years over-filling has been problematic. The dumpster fees are covered by a portion of our yearly HOA fees. Volunteers are needed to assist homeowners in loading the dumpsters, ensure that the dumpsters are being used solely by Meadow Station residents and ensure the dumpsters are not over-filled. There is no set schedule for volunteers, but assistance is appreciated. If you volunteer (i.e. loiter about the dumpster) you will meet some great neighbors (new and old) and may find a few treasures to take home, no charge.
• Additionally, please consider meeting at the corner of Meadow Station Circle and Meadow Station, at 9:00 AM, Saturday morning, June 8th, 2024. Maps will be handed out for volunteers willing to walk a portion of the common area and pick-up trash. There are 15 maps (or sections) to cover. You can request a map prior to the corner meeting by contacting Lori Silchia.
